Version history and Recently deleted
Go back to an earlier version of a guide, and restore guides you deleted in the last 7 days.
Version history
With Pro, StepKit keeps earlier versions of a guide for 7 days. A version is saved when you edit the guide after a pause. Pick Version history in the guide's menu, open a version to see it as it was, and click Restore this version to bring it back. The current version is saved first, so a restore can be undone. A blur reaches earlier versions too: they show that screenshot blurred, so a restore never brings back what you hid.
Undo
Deleting a guide or a step shows an Undo button for a few seconds, on every plan.
Recently deleted
With Pro, deleted guides wait 7 days in Recently deleted, the trash next to the backup button at the bottom of the panel. Restore brings a guide back with its screenshots; Empty trash removes them all for good. After 7 days they go by themselves.
