Re-capture a step
Give one step a fresh screenshot when a screen changes, without recording the guide again.
When to use it
A button moved or a page was redesigned: re-capture the steps that changed instead of recording the whole guide again. Re-capture is part of Pro.
How it works
- In the editor, open the step's menu and pick Re-capture.
- Get the page ready: go to the screen you need. Your clicks are not recorded yet.
- Click Capture next click, then click the element on the page.
The click becomes the new screenshot of that step. The title and the description stay; drawings on the old image go. Any To review or Outdated flag on the guide is cleared.
