Guide me on the page
Follow a guide on the live site while StepKit rings what to click, step by step.
What it does
Guide me walks you through a guide on the real website. For each step StepKit finds the element on the page and rings it in blue: you click it, and the guide moves on. Guide me is part of Pro.
Start it
Open a guide in the panel and click Guide me.
Along the way
- When a step is on another page, Open that page takes you there.
- When a step needs a key, press it in the ringed field.
- When the element is not on the page, StepKit shows how it looked: do it by hand, then click Done, next step.
- Previous goes back a step; Skip moves on.
At the end
StepKit tells you how many steps it could not find. If the page has changed, Mark the guide To review flags it for an update.
From a shared link
On a shared guide's page, Guide me lets anyone follow the guide on the real site with StepKit: free, with no account and no Pro for the reader, and nothing added to their guides. Chrome may ask for one click on the StepKit icon in the toolbar. A private link is followed once its reader has opened it on the page.
