Export a guide
Export to PDF, Word, Markdown or HTML, copy into your wiki, or export a whole folder as one document.
The formats
Pick Export in a guide's menu:
- PDF: through Chrome's print dialog.
- Word document (.docx).
- Markdown (.zip): the text plus the screenshots as files.
- HTML page: one page with every step.
- Interactive HTML (Pro): one self-contained file with Previous and Next, step by step. It works offline, on an intranet or a file share.
- Copy with formatting: paste the guide straight into Confluence, Notion or Google Docs.
The Images switch at the top of the menu leaves the screenshots out when you only need the text.
A whole folder as one document
Export folder, in a folder's menu, puts all its guides in one document with a table of contents.
The folder's description, when it has one, opens the document.
The StepKit watermark
On the Free plan, screenshots in an export carry a small Made with StepKit watermark. Pro exports go without it, and can carry your own branding.
