A shortcut does not expand

Check, in order: the expansion master switch in Settings; whether expansion is off for the site in Disabled sites; and whether the shortcut has no prefix, in which case it expands on Tab, not on typing. When in doubt, Ctrl+Space finds the snippet by name.

FillKit ignores a field on purpose

Password fields, one-time code fields and card number or CVV fields are skipped everywhere, by design. There is no setting to change this.

Autofill misses or misfills a field

Sites change their forms. Open the set, remove the stale field and pick it again on the page; matching is based on the field's stable attributes, so a re-pick fixes a redesign.

I deleted something by mistake

Deletes show a toast with Undo. With sync, deleted items also stay restorable for 30 days from the account page; otherwise, import your latest backup from Settings.

An email to my snippet address never arrives

Only mail sent from your account's own address is accepted; anything else is dropped silently. Check which mailbox you sent from, and mind the daily limit of 50.

An import says the file does not match

The import parses strictly per source: a Text Blaze file fed to the Magical entry is refused on purpose. Re-check which app the export came from and pick that source.

The panel and a page disagree

Content scripts load with the page: after installing or updating FillKit, reload tabs that were already open.
