ToolClack sync
Devices in step, version history, a 30-day trash and usage stats, on an optional account.
What sync does
Connect a ToolClack account (Google sign-in) and your snippets, autofills, details and settings stay in step across up to three devices. Sync runs when the browser starts and after your edits; offline everything keeps working locally and catches up later. The account page lists your devices and can free a slot.
Version history
Every synced snippet keeps its earlier versions: open a snippet's menu, pick History, and restore any version. The restore syncs everywhere like any other edit.
The 30-day trash
Things you delete stay restorable for 30 days from the account page at toolclack.com, and a restore brings them back on every device. After 30 days they are gone for good.
Usage, everywhere the same
Settings shows your expansions, autofills and time saved; the account page shows the same numbers, summed across devices. Reset my statistics, from either place, starts everything from zero everywhere.
Local first, always
Your browser keeps a full working copy at all times. The server is a replica, not the master: disconnecting never takes your data away, it only stops the syncing. Delete account, on your account page at toolclack.com, wipes everything stored on ToolClack's side, self-service, no email required.
