Backup center

Local export and import, manual Google Drive backup, and the freshness dot.

The backup chip

The chip in the panel footer is the backup center. Its dot tells you where you stand at a glance: green means your latest edits are covered by a backup or sync, orange means there are edits newer than your last one.

Local export and import

Export writes a single JSON file with everything: snippets, autofills, profiles and settings. Import reads it back. The file is plain, portable data you can keep anywhere; it is also the escape hatch if you ever leave.

Google Drive backup

Connect your own Google Drive and FillKit keeps one backup file there, updated whenever you press Backup. It is deliberately manual and it is your Drive, your file: FillKit has no server in the middle.
